I had an appointment for 10:45 on 2/24/26 to be seen by my gastroenterologist. I arrived a hour early because I had another appointment at building 1 at 11:15 Springhill, I informed the desk check in clerk about my other appointment at building 1 and asked for her to informed them/ cna's etc. to call me back to a room on time to ensure that I arrived on time to my second appointment. Unethical billing practices. I was charged hospital fees, almost $700 for one X-ray without any upfront disclosure. When I called to question the charge, I was told, “There were signs on the walls,” as if patients are expected to read every posted notice to understand complex billing policies. I spent less than 10 minutes with Dr. Kumar. The exam was rushed and superficial; he asked vague questions that could have been handled by a nurse, made little eye contact, and quickly sent me for an X-ray.
