So I wish I could give higher but I feel like, despite some good, the error was especially serious. I had a FANTASTIC nurse (Anna) and doctors during labor, it went very smooth and lucky! All the staff the next few days were nice too, just a little too opinionated for me (advice concerning same subjects varied greatly; be comfortable deferring to the specialists). The head nurse when I went there was a creepy old woman who had no respect for a father's decision for his child. I was threatened that she would call CPS on me if I didnt agree to have my child X rayed. Only in a left-wing, feminist culture is this kind of disrespect leveled toward fathers. I had no problem with the other staff.
Our child was scheduled for an EKG and we’re told that it would be about $400, then during the appointment was told that we should get our child an echocardiogram without any warning that this would significantly increase the bill. We got a $3800 bill two weeks later.
Absolutely the worst experience with any hospital we have ever been too. We arrived at 4pm with our 3 month old who had been running a 103 fever for almost an hour only to sit in the lobby for 4 hours while people were going back who had only been there for 20 or 30 minutes. We were told it went by when we were checked in and it didn’t make sense bc everyone there before us and a lot of people who came after us went back.
