62yrs old--DR WAXENBERG evidence based psychotherapy therapy.after 56 yrs of ptsd life.. Recently Tested negative for PTSD- did not know this was even possible. Save my ...I was wheelchair bed bound now WALK AROUND DANCING after UF Spine surgeries-last year total bilateral reverse shoulder replacements.4-times uf shands select-inpatient physical rehabilitation. Requires a referral, and when I said I have nobody to give me a referral because I'm uninsured they basically told me tough luck. Whoever is answering the phones is colossally unhelpful

I'm unaware if they offer anything else but heavily rules based/compliance based DBT. I was not offered or made aware of any programs that would have been an actual fit. The group component requirement was a heavy concern due to prior trauma, nonetheless I allowed myself to be gaslighted into going with the assurances that it would mostly be a class for note taking and learning skills of sorts.
