I recently had a disappointing experience at this location with the front desk during a visit to UF Health. My wife and I were there with our son, who has special needs and was experiencing seizures that day. We attempted to bring a backpack containing his emergency medication, but one staff member became upset and said, "I told you that you didn't need your bag," despite our explanation of the situation. We have been seeing Dr. Denison here for a few months and she's great. Really kind and communicative and takes all of my thoughts as a parent seriously. She has been really helpful in getting my daughter set up for further evaluation and therapy. We now see her virtually and make all appointments through her directly so I haven't really had any interaction with the office staff so can't speak to that. We are very happy to have found Dr. Denison!

UFHealth is a professionally run medical office with competent office staff and well-trained personnel. Our initial session with Dr. Valentin was really helpful and productive. Seems that as a teaching institution there is some turnover so we'll see how that plays out. More details to follow.

We’ve been trying to get an appointment for over 3 months. They only schedule appointments through a scheduler, which nobody has the direct line to. If you miss the phone call from Jamie then you’re SOL and get put back in line for waiting until somebody decides they have the time to call you back. Don’t bother calling the 383-1030 number that even Jamie leaves for you to schedule the appointment because they just say they’ll notify the scheduler to make an appointment. Absolutely ridiculous.
