This place is absolutely pointless and a sorry excuse for a pediatric office. Along with a variety of issues within the past 6 months today was the final straw. When I called in the lady advised neither doctor was in office today. How does a doctors office have not a single doctor on staff during business hours? You can't speak to a nurse or anyone in the pediatric office only someone at the main desk of the facility. This place is ridiculous, called to get my kids well visits scheduled, sorry ma’am our providers don’t take sunshine health but you can drive an hour away at a UF health location and that UF health takes sunshine health. SMH! So you mean to tell me the Wildlight location close to where I live can’t take my kids insurance but another UF health takes that same insurance just drive an hour no problem! We love Dr McPeak. Highly recommend!
I’ve been taking my almost 1-year old daughter here for about 3 months now. We really like Dr. McPeak! She is easy to talk to and ask questions. The nurses are very friendly and good at getting vaccines done quickly (which both I and baby appreciate!). Scheduling has been fairly easy with the UF portal, and though phone requires some transferring, I’ve gotten through well enough. Deducted a star for one visit we just seemed to have a really long wait, and in the end they didn’t have the vaccine we needed (the reason we came)... read more
I needed an updated referral for my child who has been seeing a specialist for over 2 years. They said I needed to have her seen first. When I requested an appointment I was told Dr. K was no longer there and they didn't know who was taking over her patients. After finally getting in with a nurse practitioner, she wasn't sure why they had me come in just for a new referral. Then days later I learned they had sent the referral to the wrong specialists.
