You will get the run around, be unable to speak to anyone who can help, and receive partial and/or outdated records at best. I do not recommend UF Health. Take your child to Nemours in Jacksonville or Arnold Palmer in Orlando.
My son is a patient of the pediatric neurology and the pediatric psychology. Well being a single parent of an autistic son that is non verbal and also suffers from epilepsy things happen and I had to cancel 2 separate appointments. Now I receive a letter stating my son can no longer be seen here. Being a single parent of an autistic son is hard enough now I have to search for new doctors on top of working and caring for him. If you are scheduled to see dr. Shakankiry save yourself the time and trouble. She continuously compared our daughter to her grand daughter. Saying her problem qas anxiety. Never mentioned her numbness and tingling and falling in her reports even though they were mentioned multiple times. Refused to order an MRI saying she needed therapy not an MRI and she wouldn't want to expose her granddaughter to that. We transferred our daughters care and she NEEDED brain sirgery. If I could give her 0 I would
