The doctors are great, but it seems like they have too many patients. But that is standard.. The docs have been really good here and the office staff as well. They are doing their best.

I was calling to make an appointment, and after waiting 24 minutes a receptionist answered and asked me “how can I help you” and I said I would like to make an appointment, she paused and then hung up on me. That was rude, and unprofessional.

Be your own patient advocate. Despite having abnormal EGD biopsies, my ARNP-who I didn’t even ask to be seen by- refused to order a repeat one. She always has to come in and out of the exam room asking the “MD questions” like she can’t speak for her self, not comforting in the diagnosis that she has given me. They push you away when your young here. They don’t want to treat you. She told me to have my primary care provider to continue my medications so that they don’t have too. Will be getting a 2nd opinion!!!

Everything about my experience with UF Health’s GI Lab was exceptional. The staff - everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, the receptionist, the patient care techs, the nurses, the doctors, and every other person I interacted with, impressed me with their warmth, their professionalism, their knowledge and skill. I would highly recommend this team and facility!

Best possible experience for a rather unpleasant procedure. Staff was friendly, professional and attentive throughout the process; pre-op through recovery. It’s difficult for me to find anything they could have done better.
