I had a appointment on 10/8/25 and in the exam room the optometrist said that he had to check the measurement/ lensometry of my glasses so I removed them and he exited the room for a while when he arrived back with my eye glasses I immediately noticed when putting them back on that it's now making a loud annoying crackling sound on both sides of the front hinges and the arms feel loose, I'm not sure what that guy did to my glasses but it's not good and my glasses aren't the same, patients should be present while the measurem... read more
Dr. Yancy and the team were able to fit me for multi-focal toric contacts. I am from Colorado and couldn't find any docs there who fit multi-focal lenses with astigmatism. Dr. Yancy and the team were so thorough and knowledgeable. They explained everything to me; they took the time to make sure the lenses fit and the prescription was perfect. I am so happy with my new lenses and the care I received at UF Health Eye Center - The Oaks!
I had a profoundly disappointing experience with this center. From the very beginning, I was forced to go through unnecessary obstacles—first being told I must obtain a referral letter from my physician, which caused significant delays while I waited for the paperwork to reach them. Even after fulfilling that requirement, I was met with more delays and inefficiency. Don’t bother. If I could give negative stars I would. Have an eye issue that needs to be addressed timely? These are not your people. Need to get ahold of someone who will be interested in helping you? Try again, these people are not it. Unless you want to book something out 3+ months in advance and then find out they many not even accept your case/problem, don’t waste your time. No one here is enthusiastic to help you and the staff act like they have been blessed from above because they have a backlog of patients and can’t ... read more
Hunter the Receptionist at the Eye Clinic on the phone was friendly, professional and efficient. Most importantly she listened to my problem and helped to solve it. She is a credit to the Clinic. Kudos to Hunter. Richard W Bavetta 9/10/25 we spoke to Kim today and she helped me get a message to my doctor. She was so friendly and caring. Just excellent.
