Dr Shooliz is wonderful. After a terrible experience with another doctor Dr Shooliz helped me with my hyperthyroidism
Good doctor/nurses/front staff, not-so-great administration (whoever handles the prescriptions and prior authorization, needs some serious and immediate training. Every single visit there are medication issues. Dealing with one now that's delaying diagnosis 3 non-narcotic prescriptions (one is a SCH2) have taken days to get sent to the correct pharmacy, and the correct medications as well. Kept sending other stuff. Looking at reviews of other Endocrinologist offices the poorly performing support staff seems to be VERY common... read more
I was quite upset today due to a lack of communication regarding my co-payment before my appointment. If I had been informed ahead of time, I would have been able to attend my appointment as scheduled. This oversight by the UF Health staff handling my insurance is disappointing and falls short of the level of service I expect.
Dr. Melody Beers exhibits what can only be described as the absolute worst bedside manner imaginable. Visiting a doctor is already an anxiety-inducing experience for most people, and leaving an appointment feeling ten times worse than when you walked in is utterly unacceptable. A doctor’s role is not just to identify what’s wrong and suggest improvements but also to uplift, encourage, and guide patients toward a better version of themselves.
