My (fatherly) experience at UF Health Birth Center was wonderful. I was reluctant at the fist doctors visit do to the overwhelming size of facility. But my concern was quickly put to ease once I found out our midwives (Bree, Cindy, Sharron)from our previous birth were goin to with us every step of the way. My experience with the birth center didn't have a happy ending we found out at my first appointment that there was no heartbeat, it was a difficult thing for us to hear and go through but the wonderful staff at UF Birth center was so supportive and amazing! They helped me through this difficult time and for that I am so grateful! If my husband and I decide to get pregnant again we will diffidently be using the birth center!!
I'm so grateful to have found the UF Health Birth Center. The center is absolutely beautiful and welcoming. The midwives provided such personal, supportive, and loving care. They empowered me to take control of my body and allow it to do what it was designed to do. Without them I would not have been able to achieve the delivery I desired.
We loved our experience at the Birth Center! The midwives are all wonderful - kind, caring and supportive. They helped us as we decided the kind of birth experience we wanted. We ended up transferring to the hospital after laboring at the birth center for many hours and they were with us the whole time. I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you!!!
