In such a tough time of my life, the CWC was there for me and helped me get connected with a counselor who showed me how resilient I could be, what I'd not been seeing in myself that so many others had seen in me, and what fears I could let go of. The CWC was an important step for me in my journey to move past issues I'd been struggling with.
The CWC let me down during my undergrad when I needed them. 2 out of the 3 years I applied for individual counseling, they did not have any availability. The one year I did receive individual counseling, the therapist kept trying to get me to switch to an online anxiety management program, TAO, despite my repeated rebuffs.
I cannot begin to thank the UF Counseling and Wellness Center enough for all of the help they provided me during my time at the University of Florida. If any student has the slightest curiosity about seeing one of the phenomenal doctors, I highly recommend they do.
