I had a great experience here. I was able to make an appointment the night before for moderate-severe abdominal pain. I was seen on time, the doctor listened to my concerns, validated me, and was super thorough. I was able to get a blood test and ultrasound done the same day, then they had me come in for a follow up ultrasound, follow up visit, and subsequently a CT scan the next day. No one answers the phone
I visited this clinic Sunday morning because of bad back and hip pain. They took me in turn without an appointment and I was very happy with their prompt service. . The person at front desk, the nurse, and the Doctor were all professional and welcoming. I was referred for X-rays, provided with a prompt after visit summary and a treatment plan. I have nothing but appreciation for the UCSF screening and acute care clinic!
If I could I would give 0 start. This clinic and whole UCSF is a joke. I made appointment one time and when I got there the appointment was canceled. Like what? So I made another appointment because I was feeling very unwell, I brought my own test result to the doctor. He pushed to make another one just to be sure. I waited 40 minutes even with appointment, when they ask you to arrive 20 minutes before. For what? To wait longer? They billed me over $900 for a blood test that I already had with me! Fairly useless. Never has appointments available, which the staff admits. Why bother even trying?
