My partner is a patient of UCSF and was referred to the UCSF ENT DEPT. He received an appt. quickly for an urgent problem which we were so grateful for. We drove almost 2 hours and barely made it in time due to horrific traffic but was seen promptly and treated all on the same day. Dr Ayeni is professional, kind and friendly and everything was explained clearly. Reception and assistants were friendly and courteous. Overall excellent care from all staff.
I’m really not sure why there’s poor reviews on this place. I unfortunately couldn’t be seen by an ent where I live so I have to travel 4 hours here and it was so worth it!! First of all, we got in an awful car accident on the way there but the ent clinic still fit me in and they even had one of the nurses come in and examine my husband and I. On March 3rd my son was referred here after being in ICU for a bad infection due to a stone in his salivary gland, they told him to get in right away to get it taken care of. When he called he was told they wouldn’t set up an appointment until they had his records and left him to his own devices to get the records. After two weeks and help from his primary doctor he got them transferred. He called them again and they told him they didn’t have anything until the end of April.
