From front desk to treat to the doctors eveyone has been incredible. from insurance help to scheduling and treatment eveything has been easy with no surprises. I adore the staff here! I went here for terrible tmj with no success and met Dr. Mishra she has changed my life! Not only is she wondeful to talk with, transparent, and informative she has validated and never questioned my pain. Dr Mishra helped me out with a really painful B12 deficiency. I sooo appreciate how quickly she acted (blood test, pain management etc).
Reasons why you should NEVER go to this ucsf oral medicine: Negative stars if I could. 1. Doctor made me cry, even though I only saw him for maybe 10 mins. The majority of his work was done by assistants and students. 2. Front desk lied about in network status. (My insurance lied too, but that's for another review) 3. Charged an outrageous bill INCORRECTLY. 4. I faxed over a corrective EOB and they did not have the decency to fix it and give me an updated statement with correct amount. 5. I wasted more than six years seeing local physicians, dentists, physical therapists, and massage therapists to deal with severe TMJ pain and immobility before ending up going to the Sol Silverman Oral Medicine Clinic. Absolute joke of a clinic. They are currently having accreditation issues and are trying to back bill patients because insurance companies will no longer pay for their sub-par care. $400 for a ten minute phone call? A disgrace to the UCSF name
