After struggling for 5 years with an oral condition which severely impacted my quality of life, I came to this clinic with not much hope. I was fortunate that my DDS advised me to look into UCSF Oral Medicine for an unusual chronic issue I was facing, specifically oral aphthuous ulcers and thrush. Dr. Rashmi Mishra was kind and very efficient in her analysis of my 16 year battle with lichen planus. Even though it was a relatively mild case compared to many, it was VERY uncomfortable, impacting my ability to perform good hygiene, and enjoy eating. Dr. Mishra confirmed that I was using the right product for treatment but increased the rinse time from 30 seconds to 5 minutes. My lichen planus was GONE with 3 of these treatments!!! She CHANGED MY LIFE!!! Now she is my new SUPERHERO!!!
