The absolute best place for cancer care, particularly rare cancers. I am alive because of UCSF and continue to receive excellent follow up care.
This hospital is great, but the software (mychart) is horrific. Trying to figure out when and where you need to be is impossible and the phone menu is a labarinth. I spent an hour trying to figure out where I needed to be. They need to fire their software providers and start over.
Very big campus. The cancer research and treatment facilities are very extensive. Big science research facility. Children and womens hospitals.. To get there take the Muni light rail(T- Third) or the 22 Fillmore. There is also extensive parking facilities on site. There is a FOOD TRUCK AREA with EATING SPACE For LUNCH.
