I can’t get UCSF HIV program to connect with UCSF Scope Study so that I and other HIV patients have access to HIV cure studies. I’m still left with untreated HIV and TBI because the clinical providers don’t communicate and they have a database, MyChart, where they can communicate. I lack comprehensive care for multiple conditions. UCSF HIV program receives Ryan White funding to provide Enhanced Care Management but the UCSF HIV program social workers are not providing ECM services to patients. MD Sears, RN Parousha, all of the front desk staff, all of the other RN’s, all of the residents etc., have been a gift from whatever god you may believe in! They’re always very responsive to calls and emails.They’re also so seemingly eager to get my needs addressed, even after they’ve gotten to know my flakey and dramatic side LOL I get great comfort knowing they’re there for me, no matter this issue! I truly feel lucky to have them all as members of my care team!
I could not get passed the receptionist to make a telemedicine appointment. He kept questioning my reasons for calling.
