If you're looking for an Oncologist or have already been "assigned" to Dr. Frederick Millard of the UCSD Oncology Dept. (he also has an office at The Koman Family Outpatient Pavilion at the UCSD La Jolla campus) you should seriously think twice and AVOID before receiving "care" from him. Dr. Millard is short with responses to questions, cold, dismissive and impatient. And based on my experience he is also incompetent and a terrible physician. Find another Oncologist if at all possible!

This is not a complaint about the staff or my son's care, but if you are a parent/caregiver to a nonverbal individual, you are expected to sit in a small metal chair for as long as your kid is in the ER. It is 3:23am, I am on day 3 of no sleep, night one in ER with my son, the chair I get? Like a plastic white wedding chair style. My back is so sore, and how in the world does one sleep?
