I received an at home sleep study prescription from my primary care physician. When I called this morning to pick up my at home sleep study device, I was told that the next appointment was August 13–two months from now. I told the doctor I already had 2 sleep studies before which showed I did not have sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, etc. Did he care? No. Sleep studies are a huge money maker for the doctor and the hospital. That’s why they pack em in every night at UCLA. It is now over 1... read more
