Took a while to get in, and quite a process after we were refered to UCLA Neurology by our treating neurologist. We waited a very months to get our initial appt. When we arrived staff was wonderful, kind, and accomidating. Dr Perlman was very kind, incredibly knowledgable, felt like we finally made it to a place that had some answers and possible treatments. Amazing place.
The office is the most dysfunctional office I have ever seen. They don’t return phone calls. After being ignored for 2 weeks to get my medicine I had to go to the office and refuse to leave until I had it. You get no sense that they care. For some reason reaching a doctor is next to impossible. Even after several calls it is like you are talking to the Berlin Wall. The doctors are more than fine-great even-I really liked Dr. Sheih as a person and a physician-but the office staff? Horrible. From the Office/Practice Manager to coordinators to the front desk staff, the lack of communication for any forms or medications from specialty pharmacies-the incompetence is astounding.
