I found out I had hyperparathyroidism in the spring and was referred to Dr. Livhitz. I am just over 2 weeks out from my parathyroidectomy and I feel amazing! In Dec 2024, I had a left thyroid lobectomy done by Dr. Harari. I can’t express enough how much my family and I were put at ease due to the professionalism, communication, and outstanding patient care process of the entire team. I am beyond pleased with the treatment I have received under the care of the UCLA endocrinology team. I underwent surgery a few weeks ago with Dr. Masha Livhits to have half of my thyroid removed due to a tumor. She always made sure I was aware of what was going on, any risks with all options, and welcomed any questions I had with compassion. My surgery went perfect and healing has been smooth.
