Probably the best Japanese - themed dining experience and food I have ever had in my life. Every dish we had on the chef's menu was excellent and only rivalled the next dish. We also opted to stay seated at the bar, thanks to the super friendly bartenders and their great recommendations! Will definitely come back every time I am in Austin!!

So I came for my 5th wedding anniversary, we also had our first date here about 7 years ago and have made sporadic stops when in town. They treated us so well! Got me a larger table even though it was just 2 of us. There is no need to talk about food or service.. why.... because they're both TOP NOTCH! You really can't go wrong with Uchiko. I'm opening several businesses up in Austin so now I probabaly be way more often....Thanks for the wonderful experience to the wait staff and management!
