It has been a month since my initial appointment. I haven't received a call about scheduling my procedure yet. I called in to see why and was told they are behind on getting procedures scheduled and could possibly be another month. This isn't standard of care. Pain keeps me up and keeps me from doing anything outside of my house.
The staff and the doctors are wonderful but it takes forever for them to schedule you for a procedure. Had a procedure done on the right side SI joint and it failed so the doctor said we needed to go in and redo with a different procedure that's been weeks ago so still have the pain not sleeping at night because of the pain steroids don't work on me I get deathly sick so just sitting around waiting for them to schedule me to get this procedure done so I can get some relief and maybe get on with my life
I've had a positive experience with the physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and front desk staff at UCHealth Pain Management. Everyone I've encountered has been professional, kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to providing excellent care. The procedures themselves have been performed skillfully, and I have confidence in the providers. The one significant area that needs improvement is scheduling. I advise you to find an actual pain clinic that will manage your pain. Because they no longer manage Pain and you have to be on contract if they’re even willing to do it. So I’m going to find an actual pain management clinic that will manage my pain from a broken femur and a shattered distal compound fracture. That they previously for the last year and a half managed my pain medication but now suddenly they’re not doing it anymore. You guys are worthless.
