I visited Nicholas Maurio, NP at the UCHealth Scarborough location, for an annual exam two years in a row. The first year, I was charged for labs that my insurance didn’t cover. The next year, I declined the labs because I had to pay for them out of pocket the year prior. Nicholas said he would cancel some and just do the essential labs that would be included with the annual exam and not coded as extra to my insurance. Wiared 24 hours in hospital room to even see a doctor. Nursing staff hit or miss. Cannot seem to share records or information. Terribly inefficient. Go to Denver for your healthcare.
Dr. Naveed Chaudhry is a horrible neurologist and I would recommend you go see ANYONE ELSE other than him. He honestly should not be practicing medicine as he does not care about his patients. We had an awful experience with him at the end of 2023 when he was caring for an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He had switched his seizure medications that caused horrible side effects leading to tremors, blurry vision, inability to stand or walk, dizziness, memory loss, hallucinations, etc. Getting ahold... read more
This office does not listen to their patients. I have already seen the doctor regarding knee pain and had an X-ray, blood work and an ultra sound and I requested a referral for an orthopedic doctor and physical therapy and they just want me to take pills and get injections. I was also told that I have to take myself to physical therapy away from my home even though I am wearing a knee brace and am using crutches.
AVOID! Dismissive, hostile, poor listening skills. As a patient with a list of health problems, I see a lot of doctors. This guy has issues. During my first appt everything was friendly with the office check in. Once he came in the room the energy changed. He gave me a doubtful look and said: What are you doing here? I explained that my doctor had moved and my health info had been transferred to him. Our last doctor left the practice. We were told to look online and pick our new one. What a mistake! It is truly appalling to see how uncaring, unprofessional, biased, hurtful, and uniformed a doctor can be. She completely dismissed not only how my daughter felt about her mental health, but also her physical health - the last of which required she stay in the hospital for two days when her doctor did nothing. This place is a big fat joke!!!! Nurses are rude!!! The Emergency department is wicked bad!!!!!! I came in by ambulance for a sizer and waited 9 hr for food water and some meds... I ended up just walking out and going home!! I ended up hitching a ride back up to woodland park BEWARE PEOPLE!!!
