I visited Nicholas Maurio, NP at the UCHealth Scarborough location, for an annual exam two years in a row. The first year, I was charged for labs that my insurance didn’t cover. The next year, I declined the labs because I had to pay for them out of pocket the year prior. Nicholas said he would cancel some and just do the essential labs that would be included with the annual exam and not coded as extra to my insurance.
