I’m a disabled veteran and in 2017 to 2018 I was covered by Medicaid, but I didn’t have enough percentage for VA coverage, but I did have an extra small plan to cover any extras. I got a fish hook in my hand, one evening, and instead of driving up to Denver to see if the VA could take care of me, I went to UC Memorial North. My husband recently spent a few days in the ICU and I have to show appreciation for the entire staff. We received the most amazing care, both the patient and the family. This was so stressful and scary, but Dr. Suga made it his personal responsibility to ensure my husband received the best care and took the time to check in consistently with the family. If i could give this hospital a -10 or lower, that's what they'd get. This is the worst hospital in Colorado Springs thus far. The way they treated my daughter, was very unprofessional. She will be back, definitely not for any services. But with a lawyer. Let me clarify, the lack of professionalism was shown by the obed department.

I have to give credit where credit is due. My situation wasnt dire but for what I was admitted for, I was treated with respect and dignity. I had an amazing nursing staff, my Dr while I was there and his PA, even the lab people drawing my blood. I did start to become "that patient" but the staff remained calm even when I wasn't. I appreciate people like that. Very pleased with what was received.
