Literally sitting in the ER for 2.5 hours now with possible appendicitis. Daughter is in excruciating pain and nothing has been done since arriving. I've heard amazing things about this hospital but definitely will not be recommending. Patients are leaving left and right not being seen/treated. Staff is unprofessional and not friendly at all!
I went to the UCHealth emergency department requesting a bridge prescription for my long-term treatment. I’ve been prescribed this medication since I was 15 (I’m now 24) and have full documentation of my diagnosis and treatment history. During my visit, I explained that I had recently relocated to Colorado due to a domestic violence situation and that I am currently uninsured. I've been to the ER quite a few times. Mostly via ambulance. My aunt who brought me, over heard ER staff making fun of me. Unprofessional doesn't even cover it. I won't be back unless its beyond my control and via an ambulance.
As an Epilepsy Patient, I have had the worst Treatment by the Laziest, most ignorant staff in all of Colorado. That's saying a lot since Colorado is the laziest, most ignorant state with the worst work ethic, I have ever Lived in. Allows me to thrive, even with this condition. However, getting an appointment or even a refill is ALWAYS A HASSLE.
