Last year , I came into the ER about a possible ectopic pregnancy. She said we didn’t have enough information even though my HCG level was at 3600. She wanted me to wait another two days for another HCG test and possibly another 2 weeks for an ultrasound. The NP at the clinic went with this OBs advice to either wait 2 weeks for an ultrasound or I could have the uterus cleaned out.
