One specific doctor here has made me decide to go elsewhere for any of my family's urgent medical needs. My husband was advised to go to the ER for severe back pain because his doctor could not see him until the next day. My wife keeps telling, read reviews before you go somewhere. I seriously wish I had taken her advice before going to this facility. After reading every single review about this ER I would have never gone to this facility. Long story short I am also one of the people that was taken advantage of by UC Health and it's Free Standing Emergency Room Department. They somehow keep deleting my review on Google- I have reported them for insurance fraud/dual fee schedule- They billed my insurance $6,000 for drawing my blood and peeing in a cup. I had NO imaging done and I did pay $135 when I was there as that is what my ER copay is. I also paid the $442 bill I got in the mail which was for LAB WORK (ridiculous). Insurance paid $3000 and this place has been after me for the other $3k. I got served with papers so THEY WILL SEE ME IN COURT for their illegal billing practices
Seeing as you removed my "review", I'll post it again, and again and again. Do not go here without 1st having full disclosure on cost. We took my daughter here for a small dog bite. They literally squirted saline in the cut, put two steri-strips over it. They wrote her a prescription for antibiotic and sent us on our way. Total cost??? $2800!
I had a great experience.staff was great!!! I had no wait time. The longest time I had to wait was for a copy of my xray to be given to me. Special shout out to RN Sam he stayed after his shift to make sure I had everything I needed. I would recommend anyone there.
