The entire surgical care team at Memorial North was amazing and Dr. Shelton was no exception. His pre-surgery consult was thorough and gave me confidence while his humor and banter put me at ease. Communication and care were top notch.
Dr Shelton was subbing for another anesthesiologist who was not available to talk to me before my surgery. I appreciated his thoroughness and his sense of humor. He gave me confidence. He is a doctor I would certainly trust with my life.

Dr. Shelton is a great doctor, but is only getting 3 stars because of his bedside manner. I felt very confident in his skills, but that didn’t help calm my nerves before surgery. Bare minimum when it comes to social skills.
Very serious and doesn’t have much bedside manner but this is the only time through all my past surgeries that I haven’t been violently sick afterwards. So. He’s a very good doctor. Nonetheless, he could softer up a bit.
