I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Orozco-Peterson, MD and all of the top shelf staff at UCHealth Primary Care Clinic. I was treated with respect and kindness many times over. I would like to give special thanks not only to the doctor but also Carrie, Sandy, Nancy, Stephanie, Lily, Tiffany, Beth, and Tara. I certainly hope I didn't overlook anyone, because all of you are the BEST! It is comforting to know we have such caring individuals in Cheyenne for our healthcare needs.

MALPRACTICE!!! I can say all of this based upon my follow-up experience with a real doctor (Podiatrist) who corrected everything that was said at the Urgent Care. Avoid this place at all costs! They hire low-skilled PAs who have little to know knowledge of basic treatment and the one doctor overseeing the clinic sides with the PA when dangerous misinformation and mistreatment has occurred. Dr. Van Der Werf has been treating me for 11 years. He’s efficient, knowledgeable, and refers out if you need a specialist. He’s also warm and friendly. Very approachable.

I have hypothyroid that requires monitoring due to instability. Dr A was not willing to discuss the matter beyond once a year TSH test. She was impossible to deal with so I now go to Denver endro. Agree it would be nice to have stayed in my community. 1 star for being present.
