I read some of the other reviews posted here and was also concerned, but I had a very pleasant visit with Dr. Foster. She listened to my whole (very complicated) story, took notes, didn't make me feel crazy for my health anxiety, and knew exactly what approach I needed in my treatment. By that, I mean she wasn't too proud to say she couldn't offer me the treatment I needed, and she got me the exact referrals I was looking for in a timely manner. I was hesitant to schedule with Dr. Carol Ann Foster, MD due to the previous concerning reviews (but she was the first neurologist available) and I hoped those reviews reflected isolated incidents or bad days... Unfortunately, my experience confirmed many of the same issues. I hate that I have to leave this review but it felt necessary to share. I unfortunately did not have a good experience with Dr. Carol Foster. During the initial visit, she was very passive aggressive and dismissive. I was informed when I went to the emergency room that I had a tear in my vertebral artery. Which is why I was referred to a neurologist. This is when I scheduled with Dr. Foster. Carol Foster ordered the wrong imaging and sent me to do an MRI. Dr. Foster is such a compassionate neurologist and she is very knowledgeable about migraines. She helped me hack my sensitive brain with nutrition to help ease my migraines. I went from having debilitating migraines at least once every couple of weeks to two that were easily resolved in the last six or seven months. The fact that she taught me how to prevent migraines without adding yet another chemical to my medicine cabinet is nothing short of genius.
