I gave birth on July 9th 2025, I went in to labor and delivery at 3cm dilated with excruciating pain from contractions but was turned away because I wasn’t progressing. This put a bad taste in my mouth because I shouldn’t have been in that much pain for as long as I had to be and my OBGYN told me that I could get the epidural immediately. I really enjoyed having my baby here! My doctor was Vetter and she was so nice and very helpful through my whole process of appointments in pregnancy and during labor! I will definitely use her again for my next baby. The doctor who did the epidural did a great job as well and was patient with me through my contraction pain before getting it. I give a 3 because MOST of the staff that cared for me during my induction back in April were great. But then there is Sophie or Sophia, whatever her name was. Night nurse. She was messy, leaving trash on the floor from items she'd open in my room, she was chewing gum loudly in my ear as if I didn't have enough agitation trying to labor for over 48 hours, she'd start administering medications without explaining what they were or why she was administering them unless id ask like hey, what are you putting in my IV? I gotta say the whole L&D team was absolutely amazing! Everyone constantly coming in and checking in on me & baby after my c section. This being my first baby they were amazing answering any questions or concerns I had. I wish I had everyone’s names to give them recognition!! Only complaint I have was for the anesthesiologist who took probably over 20 min to give me my epidural so I was hunched over for wayyyyyy too long and in pain..and while during my C-section he told me I needed to control my shaking.. mind you I’m on a ... read more
Wow! I just had my 2nd baby here and had a beautiful birth experience. We went into labor on a busy night and I did have to wait in triage for a while before being admitted but my triage nurse, Claire was amazing, compassionate and kind. She recognized that I was progressing quickly which I appreciated since I really didn't want to be sent home! Once admitted to L&D my labor nurse, Madison was great too!
