Absolutely horrible experience. The attitude of the doctors at this office is some of the worst I have ever encountered. I understand that doctors are highly educated and have spent years in school to get where they are—but being intelligent and being condescending are two very different things. If you enjoy being treated like a science experiment instead of a human being, you'll probably love it here. Like everyone else has said: run. Run like your insurance depends on it. Bringing my wife to UCSD was one of the biggest mistakes we've made. The first thing the doctor asked was why we left Loma Linda. My wife explained that the doctors there were hyper focused on brain surgery, even though there were still other possible causes and treatments we wanted to explore first. The response? All I have to say is, Dr. Hannawi/Graves is/was better than my first Neurologist.
Everyone was nice and helpful. I do wish the building had a sign on the first floor indicating where the elevators are. Also, the wheelchair scale needs to be replaced — it’s not as accurate as it should be and looks pretty old.
