I don’t know where these negative reviews came from because my experience calling to make an appointment was very good. On my first call I chose the option for the callback and someone called me within the hour. She was very nice and made me an appointment for three days after the day I called. Then I called back today to ask some questions and again chose the callback option and was called in half an hour. I spoke with a wonderful lady named Linda. Absolutely unacceptable scheduling for urgent imaging. I was referred for a diagnostic mammogram for a concern and UCSD gave me an appointment 7 weeks out after an entire WEEK of jumping through hoops to even get scheduled. This is dangerous, dismissive, and completely out of line with standard medical guidelines. Patients deserve better than this. I am escalating this.
Good luck trying to get a hold of a human being to schedule or ask a question .
Been on hold for an hour so far. No other way to schedule other than phone call. The website claims you may be able to schedule imaging on MyChart, which is false.
Scheduling an appointment is about as easy walking to the moon. I was on hold 30+ minutes, gave up and called back to opt for the callback which they finally did over 2 hours later. The cranky, impatient scheduler was unnecessarily rude, condescending and indifferent. She talked over me for most of our brief conversation and when I tried to interrupt her monologue because it didn't really apply to my question she sternly said "Wait For Me To Finish" as if speaking to a toddler.
