8-23-2025 I want to give an update on UCSD urgent care. It’s my second time here and I think this time im lucky enough to interact with a different front desk receptionist Sara, who is super nice and helpful. Dr Sapiro is an outstanding Urgent Care/ Emergency Department doctor. She is exceptionally competent and caring. After investigating and attending to my problem she called me two days later on Sunday evening to ask how I was doing. On hearing my reply, she immediately arranged a rapid referral to a specialist surgical department who treated me the next day. Perfect care for her patient. Also very pleasant person.

The front desk woman at the reception was rude and aggressive, it seems she hates her job. I had an appointment at 12:30, and I wasn't seeing till 2:30 pm, so what is the point of making an appointment
I was able to see a doctor without an appointment but the wait times were considerable.
