This place doesn't like americans. If you are an American and not some foreigner just go somewhere else. All California transplant teams are just foreigners helping their own.
My father was referred here for a transplant evaluation to get things going and at first, I thought I was getting somewhere. Only to be ignored.
Been on the transplant list for 9 yrs and it has been a nightmare. Since day one they lost my paperwork then took me of the list. The worst was a woman by the last name Housekeeper . She was rude and always taking me off the transplant list because of her mistakes. Now I get a phone call from a Filipino guy being rude telling me I’ll officially off the list list. I don’t wish this to anyone else.
I had a kidney transplant in January 2024, everything was smooth, the staff, doctors and nurses were fantastic. Overall, couldn't have asked for a better situation and outcome.
