Usually it's ok. I got there early at 2:20, for appt at 2:40. It took until 3:45 and 3 attempts to get IV in. I was there until 7:10 p.m. when usually I am there until 6:05 p.m. I asked for a social worker so i could coordinate a transfer of care to another state and none came. I left a message for one to call me, and no one has. Thankfully the infusion went well, and my nurse, Rose, was great.
I love working here at the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center, this year marks my 20th in the Radiation Oncology department. Here we are family, and our patient's receive the best care possible from a team of professionals that go above and beyond every single day; because our patients are family too!

I have had the best experience thus far with the greatest care team ever!! I'm currently being treated for Soft Tissue Sarcoma. From the time I stepped foot into the UCD facility I have received the kindest TLC and warmth from everyone involved.
