Without a doubt I am here today by going to UAMS to see Dr. James Suen! Everyone I've come in contact at UAMS have been awesome. Anyone having a remote chance of head, throat or neck cancer needs to see Dr. Suen! I was just about out of options when I saw him. Now I'm approaching 5 years being cancer free.
Wonderful, helpful and friendly staff! Won't go anywhere else!
They saved my life ! The most compassionate and caring staff of doctors you will ever meet , I am eternally grateful thAt they gave me more time to be with my children and grandchildren ,
If you're sick! This is the place to go! My uncle Crash Mullins went here since 2007 and they helped him live many many more yrs! I went there often with him truly blessed people and Doctors! Hands down no better place in the world to go!
The doctor told me he was 99% certain I had bone cancer in my hip, after 2 biopsies determined it wasn't bone cancer but didn't know what it was so he was "just going to call it arthritis" and nothing he could do about it, told me I was "to young" for a hip replacement and sent me home in pain with no course of action. I will never go to this place again and will never refer anyone to this place. I got my hip replaced 2 months later by my local doctor and am walking pain free now.
The genetics department here is top notch. In all honesty, a review for UAMS by me a few years ago would have been 2-3 stars but they have truly done an amazing job in improvement. Because of my condition, I have to see several specialists and there has been little trouble coordinating and when procedures are done they are careful. I'm pleased.
They are so great with patients and their knowledge of medicine is wonderful.
Great hospital, very well trained staff. Always friendly & caring.
Prayers for all the people here. We are blessed to have this wonderful facility in Arkansas.
