I first came into contact with the Cancer Center 25 years ago when I first moved to Little Rock and they treated a close friend for Waldenstrom's Macroglobular Anemia. He is still alive today thanks to Dr. Barlogie. Now my husband gets skin cancer on a recurring basis because of his fair skin and taking immunosuppressants for his liver transplant. Yesterday we visited for Dr. Jennings to remove the squamous cell carcinoma (our 2nd surgery with him) and everything was great, as always. We were also very pleased with the resid... read more
The cancer center is an amazing place. I've been in treatment here for 16 months for metastatic lung cancer. It has spread from my lungs into my bones and my liver. Dr. Arnautakis is just wonderful. He cares, and he does the best he can for you. He is very compassionate and I know that whatever he suggests is the best he knows for my situation and for my quality of life. Thank you Dr. A. I will recommend UAMS to anyone.
I love my oncologist, but today is not a good day. (My onc is not involved with today's visit.) I'm getting an MRI, 2 actually, today on my spine and neck. The Medtronic guy has to come over and turn off my pacemaker before and turn it back on afterwards. This is the second time that the Medtronic guy said he was not notified of my appt. Now, I'll be running an hour behind schedule by the time he gets here. I'm going to get to the bottom of this before my next MRI, I can assure you of that.
Just had a follow up with Dr.Montgomery he is fantastic!! He sits takes his time to answer your questions. Knows you by name. And is one of the most knowledgable in his field. Couldn't ask for a better Doctor
The staff are the most friendly and helpful people I have ever met. The anticipate your needs and make sure you are well cared for
Terrible experience. Students think they are better than everyone with God complexs..horrible bedside manner. Dr that think he's god. I HATED IT
My husband had melanoma surgery at UAMS in July 2014. We couldn't be more pleased with UAMS, Dr. Westbrook & his entire staff. We have follow up visits every three months & the appointments are always scheduled to fit out time frame, as we live out of town. We couldn't have ask for a more caring hospital & staff to care for us. We would highly recommend UMAS to everyone.
I love my UAMS doctors! They are the greatest! It was like going home going there for my cancer treatment!
They are some very nice people there I like dr Nicolas very much
