Best place to be....these people saved my life and for that I will always be forever thankful....the staff couldn't be more caring and willing to go over and beyond the call of duty...thanks to u all
I never came across one unpleasant person my entire stay. This is a great place for having a baby!
I have been here for 3 hours now and STILL waiting in the ER. It is in fathomable how rude the staff have been. I can't imagine why they are ALL mad at life. One lady in waiting room stopped a nurse bc another lady was throwing up, the nurse totally ignored both ladies. How can people in this profession be so inhumane?
From the moment I walked through the door of the emergency room and the officer waived me through the metal detector to the wheelchair transport guy who delivered me curbside to my car to go home, everyone at UAMS impressed me with their professionalism, courtesy, compassion and kindness. They all took great care of me, but I'm most grateful for my respiratory therapists Justin, Joel and the woman RT whose name escapes me now (she wore a pretty yellow flower in her beautiful hair) and my nurses Cindy (night) and Azzie (day).
UAMS is a wonderful hospital. They saved me & my son almost 24 yrs ago. He came 9wks early, weighed 3lbs 15oz, was 16"' long. He dropped to 3lb 5oz before he started picking up weight. He stayed 29 days in the NICU unit before we got to bring him home at 4lbs. He is now a healthy young man, almost 24yrs old, weighs about 145, & is 6'2. Thank you all for everything you did for us so many years ago! You had a wonderful staff, & I'm sure you still do today!
A great hospital such caring & devoted doctors & nurses. My son is receiving excellent care.
