I had surgery on Aug 5th...excellent care from everyone..doctors, nurses,therapists, housekeeping and nutrition. Very attentive to my needs and requests. Thank you for everything!
I believe they take good care of the patients which is the most important thing. I think they drop the ball on cleaning and food services. The bathroom on the maternity floor was dirty with no supplies and hand cleanser stations when you can find them are out of hand cleanser. The food service workers on the first floor are sloooow and indifferent, can't say they are rude but you do expect a little more appreciation for patronage. Not a place for quality care. To many nurses, Dr's & students caring for patients that none of them know what's going on. I had to change my own bedding, learn to reset the leg cuff machine & explain to each person what was going on. They stopped & started my Labor 3 times which in the end my son's cord came out first and I had to go for and Emergency c-section where he didn't make it. As for labor and delivery I'd go elsewhere.
One of the best hospitals in the nation! I worked here as a Respiratory Therapist for 18 years. During that time had excellent care in the Endocrine Clinic for my Type 1 diabetes, and delivered 2 high risk babies with the Maternal Fetal Medicine program. Worked in all areas of the hospital and each delivered top notch care!
