I'm a disabled working class student who has faced discrimination and emotional abuse by UAA's health center. The nurses there mocked me when I couldn't afford to pay for certain medications, scoffing and saying things like "It's only X.XX! That's not a lot of money, haha... How poor are you?" It may not be a lot of money to a middle class stooge like you, Miss Nurse, nor is it a lot of money to someone like Elon Musk, but it's a huge chunk of my monthly income. A great asset for students to recieve affordable health care.
Professional staff and excellent care for a campus health center.
Morgan and all the rest of the staff have been incredible and are very communicative. A great resource for students who can’t afford regular health insurance. I wish more students knew the variety of health services they offer for relatively little to no cost.
