De'mon Goode helped my cousin & myself, noticing that I was going through a really messed up time he was patient, caring and went out of his way to make the situation easier on me. This March we rented a 20-foot truck from the Stony Brook U-Haul location for a non-profit donation event. The employee did the once-over with us in the morning to write down any damages if any that were already there, told us we were good to go and sent us on our way. Apparently on the top side of the truck that you could not see unless you had a ladder, there was damage that had been previously done . The employee did not see it and did not notate it. Without approval, or legal written notice U-Hual moved my storage unit in a remodeling effort to expand space. They allowed me to view the contents. However, at a later date it was determined that items were broken. They didn't allow me to file a claim for thier negligence. #9News should investigate. I will posting a secondary review regarding their management's failure to protect the public from Coronavirus.
