Absolutely horrible experience. I was renting a couple UBoxes to store things while I completed a cross-country move. Every time I visited the facility, there was a single very stressed out employee trying to help everyone. To access my Boxes, I needed to schedule access 24 hours before-hand. I did this every time, but each time, they would only bring out 1 of my 2 boxes. Very disrespectful and unprofessional for the most part.
Our experience at U-Haul storage was very good. We were given the first month rent-free which made the costs of moving more manageable. The staff was helpful and gave us instructions for locating our storage unit. The unit was temperature-controlled, very clean, and a good size. The building seemed secure, I was never worried about the security of our possessions. There were plenty of carts available to assist us with moving our boxes from the truck to the unit.
