This place is terrible. I’ve rented several times and each time I’ve had to wait for more than 30 mins. Even dropping off is slow. If at all possible rent your uhaul in Banner Elk.

Michael was very professional and accommodating. At the last minute, we realized that our unit was too small and with all of the demand from college Move outs and in our options were limited. Thank you for going the extra mile to help us while in a bind! Great customer service!!

I recently rented a truck with them to move to Winston Salem. My friend who was driving behind me had noticed the wheel was wobbling, but didn’t have a phone to contact me at and let me know. I live approximately five miles from their lot. I had loaded the truck and was headed down my driveway when my friend had remembered the wheel. She stopped me and I looked under the truck to find the wheel like this. This did not happen in the five miles I had driven the truck to my house. Absolutely the worst service I have EVER received. Made a reservation 3 weeks in advance for a 10' truck one way. Show up after a long long drive, and they say we have to drive a 2 hour round trip out of the way to pick it up. On top of this the owner Donald was very very smug and arrogant and rude about the whole ordeal. Never once apologized for the terrible inconvenience, and looked like he was getting a kick out of our turmoil.
