I made an online reservation for a truck for the first time. When I arrived, my truck was completely blocked and I couldn’t physically drive it out. No staff came to help despite my attempts. RATS everywhere. All my stuff covered in rat poop. Dead rat in one of the units. My two units are not next to each other and both have rat poop and urine all over. Thousands of dollars in antique rugs and nice clothes ruined. Even though it was in bins, the rats got into them and made them rancid. The manager (I wish I remembered her name) onsite recently helped me clean and offered a dumpster offsite I could use free of charade. I am really disappointed with my experience at this location. It started off with a mileage issue, that the team reassured me would get fixed, however 2 weeks after my rental, I proceeded to get charged the wrong amount and could not get in contact with the location via phone and assistant manager/managers emails as well. The U-Haul customer service had to refund me my amount since the manager had a note to dispute it but never did. The mileage thing was just the beginning of my issue. Very dishonest service! I would not go to this place again. They have charged me extra months which I haven't done and when I tried reaching out they pick up the call and put me on hold for more than 15 minutes with no update. The customer service is useless. When I call them they want me to check with the store and the store doesn't pick up the call and put you on hold when they do. It's like moving in circles with no resolution
