Uncomfortable experiences This store has a great selection of products. I purchased several strands of beads plus seed beads each time I went there. There was only one time any one offered me any assistance. And when I did ask, I got the impression I was bothering them. There were times I felt I was ignored too. Several times I waited just to pay for my items the clerks would see me standing there and continue with their conversations until they decide to wait on me. Wonderful service and selection I've been in this store twice within the past month, once when it was busy and once when it was almost empty. Both times I got excellent help finding what I wanted, as well as on-the-spot instructions. I even was directed to buy a less-expensive product, with an explanation for why that item was better than the more expensive product. Their assortment is wonderful. I strongly certainly recommend this store to anyone with an interest in beading.
Super Bead Store The best selection of beads in Sacramento. This store has everything you could every want, many crystals, seed beads, threads, tools, stone, glass etc. I have never needed to go to any other shop because they always have what I need. The staff is wonderful as well. The shop is busy many times when I go however I never leave with out getting the help I need. Usually if they are busy I only ask for assistance once and they get to me as soon as they can. Love this store and plan to continue shopping there.
GREAT SELECTION, GREAT STAFF I have been shopping at U Bead It for about 5 years now, and they have the best selection of beads. Every time I go there I always have a project in mind. When I ask for help in selecting the products for my projects the staff is always more than helpful and very kind. U Bead It is Only if Can't Find it Elsewhere I shop at U Bead It because they have a great selection. But, I have also found the staff to be a little rude and they act like you are bothering them when asking for help in finding something. They do have a great selection of classes and talented teachers. (mah)
So Many beads I shop here all the time and I enjoy the store and the staff. They always have something new. The best selection of seed beads and stone. Ive taken classes there and the teachers are wonderful.
Rude staff I ended up not buying anything in this store because the staff was so incredibly rude. When I walked in, a staff person shoved a tray at me and growled that I had to use it even though I said I was just looking. A staff person followed me around like I was a criminal. Considering the extensive video surveillance they have installed, I felt that the close personal supervision was over the top.
Just Okay The selection of faceted beads has gotten a lot smaller- quality not so great.
Favorite Bead Store This is one of my favorite bead stores! Great selection on seed beads for a very low price in all of Sacramento. The other beads are priced better than other stores for the amount you get, but they can get pretty pricey unless you catch them on a sale. The sales are really good (ie.. 50% off) Some of the staff is nice, but on the whole not very talkative or helpful to the customer and not very knowledgeable about beading projects.
