I WILL go back I have been in that store many times and have spent many dollars through the years. I have never found rudeness from staff on inferior products. I am a full time beader. I recently relocated to Texas. So I am now going to do online shopping there. I know that if you are having a bad day you will find a bad day. The truth about the service I love this store. I have been to several other stores in and around the Sacramento area. The service is great. I have read the other reviews about rude service and about the owner. All of those claims are absolutely false. You get what you give out in this world. Not too bad overall U Bead It I would have to say has the BEST selection of beads around. And the prices are very reasonable. On the negative side, the staff isn't very friendly. I have been there a few times, the only one that has been friendly is the guy that works there. Everyone else just seems like I am bothering them whenever I needed anything. Rude Rude, rude and then more rude. The worst employees ever. I will not buy anything from them ever. P.S. Michaels across the street has some of the same items for about half the price.
Good selection Awful customer Service Great variety/selection but definitely BAD customer service. I have had the feeling that they were "following me" around the store. Weird!! Sometimes they do have good deals on pearls and I have purchased Chinese porcelain necklaces for a few bucks. I hope that the Owners read these reviews because many people will go online to buy instead of this store. We leave our $$ here, we are not getting paid by them. Too bad. Not the only choice anymore. Try mid-town beading stores too!!
many selections but rude rude service. lots of stock and nice finds but service people are real bad. rude. I just go there to check out the price so I can compare with shopping online and I found that the price is not as good as the online price. I often buy my jewelry findings and craft supplies online, no hassel. Nice selection....terrible customer service I have bought A LOT of merchandise from this store, because it's close to home and they have a really wonderful selection of seed beads. Don't even ASK to see the Swarovski crystals...they are behind the counter, and if you don't know what you are looking for...forget it. The staff is incredibly rude...especially the owner. Maybe someone needs Midol? I wish we had this big of a store in nbay area,The staff didnt seem rude to me.Although it was my first time there I knew what I needed n I was done. I just walked around, gazing at all there supplies! I will be going back to shop again even when its a 2 hr ride for me.so I'd hope they'd be pleasant employees. So hopefully the cranky one everybody seems to complain about is no longer employed. maybe get her midol?
Rude They have a really awesome selection of beads and findings but because of a couple of very rude staff members, I don't want to shop there anymore. I practically got yelled at for setting something on their glass countertop. I used one of their trays and got in trouble because I didn't do it properly - they don't want you putting items in the price slots in the tray - they want you to bring it to them in advance of checking out so they can check prices and bag up.
