Sometimes forget about this neighborhood gem....great Q at great prices!
I think they may have recently changed ownership or management. My wife an l have enjoyed carryout here almost weekly since they replaced A&R BBQ. However, on our last two visits we've noted the counter clerks have become all but oblivious to specific order details. The food is over-done and dry. Food prices have also gone up. What was once the best BBQ available anywhere near Lakeland, TN has now become less than average in a city filled with great BBQ shops! Too bad.
We love this place. Thank you to Robin and Mary for always taking such good care of us.
The banana pudding is NOT banana pudding. It had one vanilla wafer on the top with one piece of banana it! It literally was the kind you make out the box. The sandwiches were supposed to have barbecue sauce on them. Open the sandwich up... a drop, literally. Will not be supporting again. Should have driven the distance to go to Corkys.
I can't get enough of the ribtips, okra, and corn nuggets!! I love Tys!!
