I took my vehicle in to be serviced and they did an absolutely stellar job finding and resolving an issue that no other facility could. They were timely, professional, and kept me in the loop with the status of the work. World class place to do business.
Tyler Ford, specifically their service manager refused to service my sins vehicle due to us not buying the car there. My son is a college student and car was purchased in our hometown, where we live, not in Tyler, **. Service manager informed my son maybe if you had bought the car here we could get you a loaner. Car is under original manufacturers warranty plus the vehicle has an extended **** warranty which is supposed to provide a loaner/rental vehicle.
On more than 1 occasion, Tyler Ford service has attempted to add additional services that are completely unnecessary. I took one of my companies vehicles in for an issue. I knew the issue before hand, but did not have the time to correct the problem. 1 of the 8 ignition coils was not functioning properly, causing a misfire. I was told by the service writer that all 8 ignition coils, all wires and all 16 spark plugs needed to be replaced. I have personally replaced a bad coil on a truck and everything was fine.
